SunStar America LLC d/b/a Blue Grid IT ("Company") may obtain one or more consumer reports about you from a consumer reporting agency (currently Checkr, Inc., checkr.com) for purposes of evaluating you for, and during, an independent-contractor engagement. Reports may include criminal record information and motor vehicle/driving records.
By checking the authorization box in the Blue Grid Tech app, you authorize the Company to obtain such consumer reports now and throughout your engagement. You will receive an email from Checkr to securely provide your Social Security number and date of birth directly to Checkr — the Company does not collect or store your SSN.
Before any adverse decision is made based in whole or in part on a report, you will receive a copy of the report and "A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act," and a reasonable opportunity to dispute the information with the reporting agency.
