Blue Grid technicians are independent pros installing cameras, smart home, Wi-Fi and home theater across Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. You keep 60% of every job and 100% of tips, paid weekly, with offers matched to your area and no charge per lead.

BEFORE YOU APPLY — HOW THE PLATFORM WORKS

You operate as an independent contractor (1099) — you set your schedule, methods, and handle your own taxes.

A 3% platform fee applies to your job share. Tips and reimbursed parts are excluded.

A one-time $25 registration fee covers your background and identity verification, deducted from your first payouts rather than charged up front.

General liability insurance is required and can be purchased within the app after approval, in about five minutes — no need to arrange coverage beforehand.

Any trade license required by your county or state remains your responsibility; we identify which ones apply to the services you select.
